Cack Wilhelm joined Scale Venture Partners in 2014 and focuses on investments in next-generation enterprise software companies, with a particular emphasis on the cloud infrastructure, big data, DevOps, and security sectors. Cack’s efforts have led to Scale investments in mobile database company Realm and cloud analytics infrastructure company Treasure Data.  Prior to joining Scale Venture Partners, Cack was an enterprise sales representative, first at Oracle selling databases and data integration tools, and later at Cloudera, where she sold the management application for Apache Hadoop to early-adopters in the push toward distributed parallel computing. Cack was initially drawn to the technology and software sectors while at Montgomery & Company, where she helped advise on software acquisitions and capital raises.  Cack holds a M.B.A from The University of Chicago – Booth School of Business and a B.A. from Princeton University.  Cack is a dedicated runner, racing professionally for Nike for two years at the 5,000m distance and competing in 12 of 12 athletic seasons at Princeton (Cross-Country, Indoor Track and Outdoor Track). While at Princeton she was named the Princeton Female Athlete of the Year and was a 7-time All-America recipient.

Chirag Chotalia, Principal DFJ, joined in 2016, coming from Pritzker Group Venture Capital in Los Angeles. While at Pritzker, he was instrumental in building the firm’s west coast consumer and digital media practice. He sourced and led the firm’s investments in Casper, The Honest Company, HelloGiggles (Time, Inc.), Hollar, PureWow, Raden, and Retention Science; and supported Pritzker’s investment in Dollar Shave Club (Unilever).  Chirag also worked at CVC Capital Partners, Europe’s largest private equity firm, and at Charlesbank Capital Partners. Chirag started his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.  Chirag holds a BA in economics and diaspora studies from Swarthmore College, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in entrepreneurial management.  Chirag was named one of LA’s top 10 innovators to watch by the Los Angeles Times. He is also a member of Swarthmore College’s alumni council.

MODERATOR: Martha Hernandez has a successful track record delivering critical human capital programs in both the nonprofit and private sector. Martha has served in several leadership roles for organizations such as Coro, Give Something Back, Mi Pueblo Food Centers, Inner City Advisors’ Talent Management Initiative and most recently, she was Save Mart Supermarkets’ Director of Talent Acquisition.  Martha is passionate about access to opportunity, diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and has put into practice all of her learnings into developing madeBOS, a mobile web app that empowers Retail workers to plan and drive their careers and thus reducing the growing Retail turnover rate. In addition, Martha is Adjunct Faculty for the Coro AdelanTECH Leadership Program and a member of the Coro Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Planing Workgroup.  Martha received her Bachelors in Sociology and Spanish Literature from Occidental College, is a graduate of the Mills College Institute for Civic Leadership Program, Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, Management Leadership for Tomorrow and Avion Ventures.
