Nanon de Gaspรฉ Beaubien-Mattrick, President/Founder of Beehive Holdings.  Nanon is responsible for the deal flow in the USA, shaping the strategy and culture of Beehive Holdings, and for overseeing implementation of its strategic plan.  Born in Montreal, QC, Nanon attended a French Lyceรฉ, then headed to Phillips Academy in Andover, MA.  Nanon received a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.   Prior to founding Beehive, Nanon worked in sales and marketing for Playtex International before moving on to become Sr. Vice President of Telemedia Corporation for 10 years.  Nanon resides in BC with her husband and 2 children.   Nanon is currently serving as a Director on the following Boards:   UBC/VGH Hospital Foundation, Forum for Women Entrepreneurs (FWE), and a foundation dedicated to resolving North Americaโ€™s water crisis and the de Gaspรฉ Beaubien Family Foundation. @BeehiveVC

Chris Yeh: Make Yourself Known to Investors Early

Chris Yeh has been building Internet businesses since 1995. He is the VP Marketing for PBworks, which provides highly vertical collaboration solutions that help businesses work more efficiently and effectively. Its products serve markets such as advertising and marketing agencies, law firms, and education, as well as the broader business market.  Chris is also a General Partner at Wasabi Ventures, a global venture fund, startup incubator, and consulting firm, where he leads the firm’s investment committee.  Previously, he was the first investor in and interim CEO of Ustream.TV, which provides an open and distributable platform for live interactive online video. He also helped start numerous other companies, including Symphoniq Corporation, TargetFirst, and Juno Online Services and FarSight Financial Services (divisions of D. E. Shaw & Co., L.P.). Chris is an active angel investor and advisor to a wide array of startups.
