I interviewed Robert Yearsley, CEO/CoFounder Collusion, a fellow Aussie @Silicon Valley Crowdfunding Conference. At the time they were the most successful Kickstarter campaign to come out of Australia. He spoke about how they managed to do that because Kickstarter is not global only USA. They raised most of the money in an afternoon. His advice for a successful crowdfunding campaign is Prepare, prepare, prepare.

Matthew Modine #cinequest

I interviewed Matthew Modine @Cinequest 2014.  He was such a nice guy & very engaging.  He spoke about the movie he starred in “The Last Days of Coney Island” which he discovered through a Kickstarter campaign online.  Last Days of Coney Island is an upcoming project written, produced, directed and animated by filmmaker Ralph Bakshi.  Matthew was nominated for the Maverick Award for Cinequest 2014. He certainly is a maverick as regards his movie career & his other activities, very similar to entrepreneurs.

I interviewed Jan Goetgeluk, CEO Omni by Virtuix @Launch 2014. Omni is the 1st truly virtual reality platform that allows you to be part of the video game.  Omni is a treadmill that allows you to walk on & jump 360degrees that allows you to put your mind & your body into the game.  They sell it for $499 on their website.  They raised $1.1m on Kickstarter last year.
